Hi I'm Kanasa,

I'm from Okinawa Japan and a mother of three. I try making things with my kids most days to be in touch with my creativity and nurture kids in a fun way and to remember and remind myself of my precious moments with my kids both happy and chaos.

Loving, learning, failing, laughing, growing, feeling, playing, discovering.

Motherhood is a process.

Some days we fail more than we laugh. Some days we laugh more than we fail.

Some days we cheer after witnessing a first word or a first step.

And some days we’re just trying to survive the day.

But no matter how the day goes,

love is always there.

My artworks are inspired by my little ones and my experiences as a mother. I captured experiences and feelings I’ve had as a mother that you‘ll surely relate to whether you’re a mother-to-be anxiously waiting to meet your little one or a mother outnumbered and battling to get through the day.
